Welcome to AnimalSave’s Mobile Spay & Neuter Clinic

Want to help solve the problem of unwanted pets, lower the rate of euthanasia, and decrease the number of animals that have to be taken into the shelter? Five words say it all: Spay or neuter your pet.

AnimalSave’s mobile clinic is here to help. Located just behind our offices at 520 E. Main Street, Grass Valley, we provide spay/neuter services for pet owners in Nevada County, by appointment, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Our mobile clinic also makes trips to surrounding communities, depending on need. We also hold a regularly-scheduled clinic in North San Juan the third Saturday of every month.

Welcome to the mobile spay/neuter clinic!Since its inception in March of 2008, the clinic has performed more than 5000 surgeries, preventing the births of more than 25,000 unwanted animals. Our clinic is state-of-the-art; staffed with experienced veterinarians and veterinary technicians, and supported by our office personnel and tightly-knit team of volunteers.

Our fees for spay/neuter surgery are extremely reasonable, and we encourage you to support our work by paying full price if possible. But we also offer price reductions for individuals who meet low-income requirements as defined by Section 8 Housing Assistance.

To arrange for an appointment, you’ll first need to complete our Clinic Registration Form. You can save us time and resources by downloading the Clinic Registration Form here. Print the form, fill it out, and fax it to us at 530.274.2576. We’ll then contact you to schedule an appointment. Or call the clinic at 530.477.1706 and we’ll complete the form with you over the phone.

You’ll also want to carefully read and make sure you understand our Pre-Op Instructions and Post-Op Instructions prior to your pet’s surgery.
